The Activities

The wide golden sands of the beautiful Barra Beach are less than two minutes walk from Kaya MJ's front door. Beach equipment, including snorkeling gear and a body board, are provided at the house, along with a collection of local guide books and novels.

Other activities available locally include world class scuba diving, snorkeling, horse riding and quad biking. There are also restaurants, bars and swimming pools, both in Barra and the nearby resort town of Tofo.

The traditional Mozambician town of Inhambane is just over half an hour's drive from Kaya MJ, with a fascinating local market, food shops, banks and an internet cafe.
