The house at Barra is about 20km from Inhambane, which in turn is about 460km north of Mozambique's capial, Maputo.  We usually get to Barra by first flyng from London to Johannesburg.  This first flight takes about 11 hours, leaving London early evening and arriving in South Africa early the next morning.  From there we quickly hop on a flight to Maputo, which takes just over an hour. From Maputo we hope on a small jet to Inhambane -- another 45 minutes or so. And from Inhambane it's a 20 minute drive to the house.
